Dwarf Umbrella Tree

The Dwarf Umbrella Tree, Schefflera arboricola, is an evergreen tropical tree native to Taiwan and parts of Southern China. It's easy-care nature and its growing popularity as a houseplant make it ideal for indoor environments. Growing 7-10 feet tall in its native habitat, Dwarf Umbrella Trees stay much smaller when planted in a container. The leaves are divided and composed of 7-9 leaflets each. The leaflets are dark green, glossy, and about 4-12 inches long. The tree may produce small yellow or white flowers in late spring, followed by drooping clusters of bright red berries.
