Umbellate Aloe

Umbellate Aloe (Aloe suzannae) is an evergreen, succulent perennnialfrom the Asphodelaceae family which originates from South Africa and is related to the common aloe vera plant. The plant has stunningly coloured foliage and displays spikey-looking flower stalks in shades of white, pale yellow or pink during the spring and summer months. It grows as an individual stem and can reach up to 40 cm in height and width. The leaves are thick and fleshy, and pointed at the ends. Its long flower stalks are usually pink and white - making it an attractive choice for both indoors and outdoors - and it is a relatively hardy plant to grow in the garden.
