Fairy Castle Cactus

Fairy Castle Cactus (Acanthocereus tetragonus) is a cacti species of the family Cactaceae commonly grown as a houseplant. The species is native to Mexico, Central America, and Venezuela, but is also common in other tropical climates due to its popularity as an ornamental houseplant. Its stems are light green, elongated and grow from a rhizome underground. Fairy Castle Cactus often grows in small clusters and sometimes takes the shape of a fan. The catechin is usually short and can reach 12 inches in height. Large specimens look like small, round shrubs. Its eight-petaled flowers are usually pure white, pink or violet. Its fruits and seeds are edible and can be used to propagate new plants.
